BiBo Pharma can customize the production line for DS (drug substance) and DP (drug product) at the corresponding scale for the client's product needs. Our unique PanFlex® engineering capability and integrated management system allow us to optimize commercial production for our clients in terms of quality, quantity, and cost.

Founded in 2015, our R&D center in Greater Boston, Massachusetts has expanded to 2,500 square meters, and together with our Shanghai R&D center, BiBo has over 100 scientists in two sites to provide the global highest standard biotechnology services to our worldwide clients.
Our service includes cell line development, 1L, 5L, 10L, 20L, and 50L scale process development, corresponding analytical assay development, and F&F development. We offer service within three platforms: mammalian cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapy.

The P01 site in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, began to offer manufacturing services in 2019. The P01 includes a 20L/200L GMP microbial fermentation production line, a 200L/2000L GMP mammalian cell culture SUB production line, and corresponding liquid vials, lyophilization, and pre-filled syringe F&F lines.

Located in Shanghai Lingang Life Science & Tech Park, BiBo P02 site has set a project delivery record of 147 days from the start of construction on December 24, 2020, to the completion of construction on May 20, 2021. This record fully reflects BiBo’s global leading PanFlex® engineering capacity and integrated management system, showing Bibo’s commitment to setting the new standard in the global CDMO industry.
On November 20, 2021, BiBo P02 GMP multi-platform integrated biologics production site officially entered GMP operation. It can provide service of 50L/500L/2000L microbial fermentation GMP production, 200L/500L/2000L mammalian cell culture GMP production, as well as F&F services including a liquid vial, lyophilization, PFS, and vial. Meanwhile, the BL2 (Biosafety Level 2) R&D lab and GMP Gene Therapy production site are also in operation.

Located in Shanghai Lingang, BiBo's P03 site covers a total area of over 49,000 square meters. The land agreement was signed in December 2021 and the piling officially started on January 10, 2022. The construction of the world's largest single-tank 30,000-liter cell culture GMP production line is expected to be completed by the end of 2022, which also includes a microbial fermentation GMP production line of the same scale. It is expected to enter GMP operation officially in Q3 2023. The independent F&F center and QC center will be in operation at the same time.
